Service role
dig.vin searches available public records and open-web sources to help you make a better decision before buying a car. Results vary, and an inaccessible or unavailable source is not evidence of a clean history.
Your responsibility
Before you buy, check the car's condition, ownership, legal status, price, and suitability for yourself.
Billing
A completed VIN research uses one full report credit, even if it finds little or nothing. A customer-requested research update also uses one full report credit. If our system fails before producing a usable report, the reserved credit returns. You may request a manual review of a sparse completed report at no extra cost, but a review may not find more information.
